NEW WORKS – INTERPRETIVE LANDSCAPES

“Looks like a map” I was told about one of my newest pieces and in a sense it is. I have always found maps fascinating. They represent a trip around the world, the country, or town on a piece of paper or computer screen.

Line is dominant, though hidden underneath textures in my newest work. It represents pathways through the artistic process as well as roadways through a part of my life.

The texture represents all those things one might want to reach out and touch – in Nature and of the Earth. It is my goal that the viewer will want to wander along with me in my travels.
